Parents and family members were invited into the classroom to take part in a shared learning experience with their students. Ms. Blue, Ms. Haas, Ms. Hempel, and Ms. Mojica facilitated an activity in which students presented decorated ornaments that represented their family traditions. The celebration continued as families worked with their student to create gingerbread trees, creating lasting memories. Kudos to our teachers, students, and families for coming together to build a more seamless school to home connection!

"The second-grade students had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with Rockaway Township in planting 158 trees at the Hudsonia Wetland Area located across from KDM. With the support of parent volunteers, the students, Dr. Corbett, and the Township helped restore the Camp Hudsonia Wetland area with native plant species.
