Building Goals

  1. Between September 2025 and April 2026, a minimum of 9/12 Response to Intervention Action Steps will have been provided and executed to students at Katharine D. Malone Elementary School.

Rationale: Aligned with the district’s strategic plan, this goal focuses on strengthening early academic interventions and instructional strategies to support struggling students. The RtI team will monitor student progress and use data to guide targeted interventions. By June 2026, KDM Elementary staff will be trained on the LinkIt Intervention Manager Platform and district RtI procedures to ensure consistent, data-driven support across all grade levels.

  1. By June 2026, KDM Students will improve ELA and Math achievement by 10% combined (as measured by the I-Ready diagnostic). This sub group of students consists of the percentage of students who tested below grade level on the Fall 2025 i-Ready diagnostic for ELA and Math.


Rationale: i-Ready allows your teacher(s) to meet student(s) exactly where they are and provides data to increase your student's learning gains. i-Ready consists of two parts: Diagnostic and Personalized Instruction. This student centered approach will provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all levels of learners.
